Caitlin Thornbrugh

Writer, educator, Kansas native

Caitlin Thornbrugh is a writer and Kansas City native. While writing primarily nonfiction, she likes to explore genre boundaries and write along the edges of poetry and fiction.

​​Currently in Boston, she teaches for Northeastern University’s Writing Program.

Her nonfiction has appeared in Honest Noise, Portal del Sol, and Parcel Literary Journal. Her piece, “Ahuacatl Agovago, Avocado: The Corrupt Alligator Pear” was a 2014 Notable Best American Essay.

​She has received fellowships and grants from The Lambda Literary Foundation and The Dickinson House-Belgium.


Victoria Micha

Student

Victoria Micha is currently an undergraduate student at Northeastern University in Psychology and English. She was born and raised in Mexico City and moved to Boston for college.

During her time as a student, she has worked in the mental health and research field. She also loves finding ways to explore her artistic side in literature and writing.

She is currently an editor for Northeastern’s literary journal NU Writing and First and Foremost magazine.
